New Moon Magazine is a feminist publication for young girls that shaped me greatly. It was an honor to lend my illustration to a story written by a young reader, which featured fairies, a dog named Freedom, and brains in jars.

 

The illustrations were done with guache, watercolor, and ink. They were done in especially bright colors, per the editors wishes.
